Well it's been a great start to the year for Design Train. Our personal project the Discover Murray campaign received a National Platinum Design Award and Tourism Accreditation. Design Train revamp
Finally a new Design Train website designtrain.com.au. A new look for Design Train with important branding and marketing resources including our Top 10 branding tips. We've now included an area for E Newsletter/Promos and Email signoffs along with a range of Powerpoint templates and designs. What you can be assured of is our aim to reach and maintain high standards of design services that make a difference to your business. Thanks for your continued support - we're grateful. So where am I off to? Well a trip to rediscover my youth with the family all starts with a couple of days in Disneyland - hey a designer needs to expand their experiences to generate the best ideas for their clients. A few days in LA then off to Las Vegas where my wife, Melissa and I are renewing our vowels in the Graceland Chapel. We've always wanted to do the whole kitschy thing and made a commitment to one day do it this way. I'll even dress up as Elvis for this one if I can. We're thinking of putting it on the web so if there's enough interest email me back and I'll get it organised.

Then off to Paris for 5 days followed by a train up to Germany to spend some time with some good friends. Eventually to Rome via Prague to celebrate my 21st birthday and home via Hong Kong. Wow, it's going to be a great experience and naturally a time to research design trends, ideas and better ways to do business. I'll still be contactable but Scott will have things well under control. I can only imagine the amount of photos I'll take. I'll be in contact when I get back. We've also attached some recent projects for your interest. Enjoy.

Mawson Lakes Hotel & Function Centre website
The newly developed Mawson Lakes Hotel and Function Centre website is a breath of fresh air to the hotel's frontline marketing. The hotel and function centre needed a website that not only looked professional but marketed their extensive range of products and services including a newly extended weddings, functions and accommodation area. Large powerful photos of the rooms really showcase the quality and services supplied by the hotel. Part of the key to a good website is simplicity of management of content while still looking great and communicating to the audience. Danpalon Screens brochure
Danpalon is an amazing twin-walled polycarbonate sheeting. Our client, Burnside Plastics asked Design Train to develop a marketing tool that showcased their screens and partition systems using Danpalon. What struck us was the diverse ways Danpalon plays with light. We wanted to highlight to interior designers the amazing range of choice when using the incredibly strong Danpalon screen and partition system. www.danpalon.net.au

Class A Jewellers
We've undertaken with Class A Jewellers a campaign to create awareness of their sensational CAD jewellery design services. Exclusively to Class A, you can now design your own piece...whatever you want. Sit with their designer and see your design happen before your eyes. Now clients ideas with jewellery design are limitless where those ideas can be turned into reality. We've focused on simply beautiful pieces and a simple message with full page ads in SA Life.

Air Maestro™ brochure
Air Maestro™ is an amazing piece of software that will allow aviation operations to now effectively manage their functions from one online and realtime centre. Aviation operations are very complicated and safety is the primary concern. All elements of an operation can be easily reviewed, managed and reported ensuring a better and safer operation. Design Train has implemented branding for Air Maestro™ initially with the logo, then print and electronic design solutions. Catherine Health from Air Maestro recently said "Through understanding and thorough planning, Shane has maintained an overall consistency in expressing the brand's unique qualities throughout all of our marketing campaigns and brand extension initiatives". :: www.airmaestro.com.au

Water conservation is a key issue in society and that's where Clean Freakz has focused and developed a great service and product offering. Water wise car cleaning will save millions of litres annually in Australia. Design Train developed a website that worked in well with the all ready established clients logo.
